What is telc and why do you need it?
telc stands for ‘The European Language Certificates’ and is a recognised certification system for language proficiency. The telc exams provide official confirmation of your German language skills and are recognised internationally. You need a telc certificate to demonstrate your language skills for academic, professional or personal purposes. The Foreigners’ Registration Office generally recognises the telc certificate.
We currently offer telc German A2·B1, B1 and B2.
These tests comply with the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are ideal for you if you wish to officially document your German language skills.
The scaled telc German A2·B1 exam means that with just one exam, you can be certified at either level B1 or level A2 if you do not quite reach the required standard for B1 but have achieved the necessary score for A2.

Written exam: 125 mins.
Oral exam: 35 mins. (+ waiting time, as only 2 candidates are examined at a time)
Please note: You must sit the entire exam. It is not possible to sit just part of the exam!

- Price
Die Teilnahmegebühr für die telc-Prüfungen A2·B1, B1 und B2 beträgt 225 EUR. In diesem Preis sind alle Kosten für die Prüfung sowie die Mehrwertsteuer enthalten.
Hinweis: Die telc-Prüfung für B1* und B2 kann auch als Teilprüfung (schriftlicher oder mündlicher Teil) abgelegt werden. Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt dann nur 185 EUR. In diesem Preis sind alle Kosten für die Prüfung sowie die Mehrwertsteuer enthalten.
